My thanks this time go mainly to Margaret Brown for her usual help in the initial reading here, and for the final typing. To Jean Cowper and Jim Shearer for their assistance with some of the outstanding flat stones and in the checking. Jim has waxed poetic again, it must be something in the air up there. A number of people have asked where the churchyard is at Tyrie, so to help you find it there is a map, taken from the OS Sheet 30. This also pinpoints some of the other churchyards in the area. On our last visit to check on a stone we found a new one had been erected, so that has been included at 96a. The sunshine, so hard to see up hear this year, was kind to us that morning and we were able to read the Nos 36 and 37 where, before that, we had no inscription. Thanks from all of us go to the Alexandra Hotel in Fraserburgh again, where we spent the holiday weekend, and were well looked after. Sheila M. Spiers.
