Particular thanks to the ‘Graveyard Gang’ this time. On the Saturday morning we had intended to start it poured with rain and with a howling gale as well we didn’t think we would do much at all. Margaret Brown, Jean Cowper & Jim Shirer, plus me, sat in the hotel with various projects that we usually arm ourselves with for just such a situation. After tea it stopped raining and the sun shone so off we went to have a look. We cleaned some of the flat ones off and they dried nicely overnight, and got the general layout of the place. Sunday and the weather was kind to us, the sun shone all day. Connie Stuart joined us and we made good headway. Monday and it was even better, we were able to work in shirt sleeves for the first time. Mrs Phyllis Whitmarsh joined us that day for the time and enjoyed her day in the fresh air. By the time we were ready for home the first reading was complete. Two weeks later we managed to do most of the checking, then moved on to Crimond and St.Fergus. Sheila M.Spiers,
