My thanks to all those Society members who came on this outing. It was not a particularly good start to the day, being overcast and on the chilly side. By lunch time it was certainly brighter and a little warmer so we were able to have lunch “Al fresco” in the shelter of the walls. Everyone worked very hard, probably to keep themselves warm, and all the stones had been read by mid afternoon. We were fortunate in that the church was open and we were able to record those as well. We even had time for a walk along the river before an excellent high tea at the Hotel just up the road.
