Thanks firstly to Margaret Brown for her initial readings in the Old Kirkyard, and to Mrs Phyllis Whitmarsh for the original typescript. To Margaret for the original reading of the New section and to Jean Shirer & Edna Cromarty for all the additions; to Margaret, Jean and Edna for the final checking. Also to Dennis Fraser for his original Index and to Edna for updating it and for proof-reading the whole thing. Outside the Old Kirkyard is an information board which details the history of this ancient kirk. It is now under the auspices of Aberdeenshire Council. The New Kirkyard is still very much in use at the north side. We have recorded only the south side which seems to be mostly complete. There is the ancient stone circle which is at the south-east side of the church and is one of the largest in the area.
