To Edna for updating yet another index. Both these kirkyards are quite difficult to find. For Logie-Mar:- from Aboyne take the right turn at the Dinnet crossroads, continue towards Strathdon until you see the sign to GALTON – a small farm on your left. In the summer this might be a bit obscured by the foliage. Take the turn for Galton and follow the track through the farmyard taking a left at the end. A few yards down the lane you will see the kirkyard walls.If you go a little further down that track you can turn round at the farm buildings to return to the main road. For Coldstone:- Return to the Strathdon road and turn left. As you go through the village of Logie Coldstone you will see the War Memorial on your right, beside the church. Continue through the village and up the hill. On your right, about halfway up the hill you will see a White house. BEHIND the house is an opening which, at present leads to an Art Gallery. Take this opening going past the gallery, follow the track round to the left and up the bank. At the top bear right and the kirkyard is in front of you.
