My thanks firstly to Margaret Brown who did the recording of all three kirkyards while I was busy doing the plans; and to Jean Shirer for the energy she expended in cleaning the stones at Kirkton of Aboyne and particularly Glenmuick. Thanks also to Edna Cromarty & Jean for the final checking and to Edna for the indexes. We have also included St.Lesmo’s Chapel in Glen Tanar itself with a note on its history. If you haven’t already been there we would recommend it. The Chapel holds a monthly service in the summer. We are delighted to finally get this one into print as its “in preparation” took rather longer than anticipated!
