After the ancient Dalmaik Kirkyard (MIs published as AA126) fell out of use, burials started at the New Kirk of Drumoak, at first immediately beside the Kirk, and in the main flat area in front. The burial ground continues in use, with most of the peripheral areas now called into service. This booklet lists the Memorial Inscriptions for the older parts of the Kirkyard only. Drumoak Kirkyard was recorded from scratch in 2006 and thanks are due to Sarah Tennant, Banchory Registrar, for supplying a very useful lair map. Special thanks must also go to Morag Keith, Session Clerk at Drumoak Kirk,for an image of the kirkyard from an old postcard.
