Just two of us involved with this one, so my thanks to Margaret Brown for her initial reading, then checking and typing. There were a few interruptions in the preparation of this one. On several occasions it was a nice morning in town, so we would go out for a days work only to find that, within half an hour, it was pouring with rain so had to go home again. The church itself is at the corner of the crossroads but the churchyard is about 350 yards on the left on the B977 to Banchory. A word of warning to drivers – the entrance as at an almost blind bend. It is recommended that the car is reversed into the one-car space at the gate. It is easier to leave there – by opening the windows and listening for oncoming traffic – going nose first instead of backing out. Even though it is fairly close to the junction, cars seem to pass at speed. Sheila M. Spiers
