My thanks to Shelagh Hutchings & Florence Profeit for the initial “spade-work”. To Sheila M. Spiers, Margaret Brown & Jean Cowper, who “Apprenticed” me to ‘Graveyarding’, my grateful thanks for the completion of this booklet. Alena L. Bathie From the Editor. The Society’s thanks to the No. 2 Graveyard Gang for their very hard work here. An interesting point is that on two occasions we have been back to check, first on the inscriptions and then on the plan, and each time we have ‘mislaid’ an inscription. No. 128 the inscription had fallen off and was in bits on the ground but No. 233 the main stone had disappeared altogether. The small one (J. W. WARDEN) is still there but liable to get grassed over so you will have to search and dig for that one. This also applies to nos. 213 and 214. Sheila M. Spiers
