Introduction
My thanks initially go to Margaret Brown and Edna Cromarty. They worked very hard cleaning and recording while I tried to make a plan that will help you find your way around. In June 2006 the Society came here for the annual outing. About 25 of us spent an enjoyable day checking what we had done. Everyone worked very well and by lunch time all 620 of the stones had been checked. Looking for something to occupy the rest of the day, we turned to the first extension and managed to read the whole of that. The plan still needs some work and a few of the stones and as this section is still in use it has not been included in this publication. It will be available for consultation in the shop. Once work was finished for the day we all enjoyed an excellent high tea at The Burnett Arms. My thanks to everyone who took part that day.
